Dhyan Sutra
Dhyan means medition and sutra means a technique to attain it. An attention that gives medicinal effect to your mind and body can be called as meditation in modern terms. Mediation is process of invoking the divine power within you & connecting your self with the everlasting cosmic consciousness (Chaitanya) and energy ( Shakti)
It is not advisable to start the process of meditation without understanding the Self existence in three dimension as mentioned in Aatmshodh & without understanding the concepts of reincarnation and law of karma.
After understanding the concepts of self analysis ( Aatmshodhan) and Karma Yoga , it brings the best results in meditation , because the cause of stress & hindrance to focus gets well cleared in these first two steps.
Shiv Swaroday Nadi Shastra understanding is required before starting the actual process of meditation, it explains the working of three main channels of prana shakti called as Ida, Pingla and sushumna.
